Lord Justice Moses speaks about his views on the 'sell by date' of experts
The Autumn conference season continues into November with the annual Bond Solon Conference. This year the Right Honourable Lord Justice Moses will be giving the keynote address. In the Shaken Baby appeals (Henderson v R. EWCA Crim 1269), Moses LJ expressed the view that
expert evidence from those in practice could provide a ‘far more reliable source’ than that of experts who had retired. Do you agree?
Speakers at the conference will also consider the possible ramifications for expert witnesses of the Jackson report into civil litigation costs. Will there be a decrease in the need for your expert services if successful defendants cannot claim costs?
